Key Features & Specifications
1. Hull Specifications & Architecture
Manufacturing: The hull combines the best design features from our most popular models.
Dry Weight: Approximately 2.0 tonnes (bare hull, ex-factory).
Overall Length: 8.2 m, including the 30 cm extended rear platform.
Beam: 2.65 m (wider than the 720’s 2.5 m beam, providing significantly more deck and cabin space).
Plate Thickness: Bottom hull in 6 mm or 8 mm, sides in 5 mm, using CCS-certified 5083 marine-grade aluminium.
Fuel Capacity: 478 L fuel tank.
2. Bow & Anchoring Setup
Drum Winch Upgrade: Redesigned anchor well cavity to accommodate a drum winch, delivering stronger pull when anchoring on reefs.
Bow Rails & Trolling Motor: Extended rail height for improved safety when casting in shallow water, with an enlarged mounting platform for larger electric anchor winches.
Cabin Headroom Improvement: The bow profile is raised and tapered to meet the base of the windshield, significantly increasing headroom inside the cabin.
3. Engine, Trailer & Performance
Outboard Engine: Recommended power range 300–400 HP.
Trailer: Recommended heavy-duty alloy trailer with keel or roller support, rated at 4.5 tonnes, to comfortably carry heavy twin engines or full gear loads.
Speed & Fuel Economy (example with Mercury 400 HP V10):
Planing & Cruising: Planes effortlessly at 2,800–3,000 RPM (~30 km/h) with fuel consumption of approximately 25 L/h.
Optimal Range: At cruising speeds of around 45 km/h, fuel efficiency reaches approximately 1.1 km/L, giving a range of 500+ km.
Top Speed: Capable of 75–80 km/h at wide-open throttle (WOT).
4. Rear Deck & Transom
Extended Platform: The rear fishing area is extended by 30 cm, providing roughly double the usable side fishing space.
Safety Lock: Horizontal gate latches have been replaced with spring-loaded vertical bolts to prevent accidental opening.
Upgrades: Upgraded stainless steel scuppers to reduce water backflow, with pre-welded mounting tabs ready for Zipwake dynamic trim tabs.
5. Cabin & Interior Amenities
Ventilation: Hydraulic opening center front window allows direct airflow through the cabin while at anchor.
Storage & Seating: Equipped with rod holders, tackle drawers, space for a 160 L Icey-Tek cooler or 12V fridge, and soft C-Deck lining on storage shelves.
Sleeping Space: Spacious V-berth cabin capable of accommodating adults lying crosswise or lengthwise, with a length of over 2 metres.
Freshwater System: Built-in 35 L freshwater tank connected to an outlet for washdowns or deck showers.
